Day three of the conversion. I fitted the ECU, coil pack and loom as well as replacing the header tank and battery. On turning the key I heard the fuel pump start up, and I am getting fuel pressure on my gauge, but the car wonít fire. Petrol is definitely getting though, so either the injectors arenít opening or there is no spark. The readouts from the laptop all look fine, and the throttle pot is spot on too. Unfortunately I canít get into the map as there is a pin protection. Can I phone SBD and ask them for the pin? I may have flooded the engine, as the first time I turned the key the fuel pressure was too high. I am using the standard GM DIS pack, but I also got a valeo one along with the kit, do you think this could be the problem? I really want to check for a spark, but was told that you canít use the conventional way of doing this as the voltages are too high and you will get a shock and may damage the ECU. Any suggestions?
