My mates birds timing belt has just snapped on her 1.6 corsa sport its been regularly serviced by premier vauxhall up till she got it a couple of months ago and it should`ve had a belt by now but obviosly they must`ve "forgot". I`m getting the car up on moday to fix it, (The garage the recovery boy took it to wanted £1400) do i need any special tools to time it up? its a late one, 98R regwheres good to buy valve guides, i forgot to ask autovaux, they said about 4.95 each for the valves, is that a good price? anyone cheaper? i can get a loan of a flask of liquid nitrogen, will it be ok to dip the guides in that to shink them to fit?
