Calibra Turbo Problem
My dad owns a calibra turbo and we are suffering a few problems :-
sometimes misses when under load
A bit of white smoke when under load as well
and when he changes gear the dump valve sounds like a wet fart.
i need help please.
check the gapping of the plugs - 0.8mm iirc on std boost.
Also check the actuator for wear, i.e worn spring or wind it up a bit = little bit more boost, dont go too far otherwise the ecu will hit the boost limit.
would white smoke mean burning water? Check the header tank for any mayo and the oil cap/oil dipstick.
Could this mean the head's gone porous guys?

(0.7mm by the way, and you can gap it a bit less if that doesnt cure a miss)
