is it essential that my rear engine mount, passenger side should be mounted or sitting on the under cradle, i have a turbo engine is in a cav mk2 when i put the engine in i had to raise the rear passenger mount as gearbox was hitting the under cradle, in turn the driver side front mount had to be adjusted.
recently i sorted out the undercradle so box no longer hits it, i lowered the rear passenger mount but forgot to adjust the front passenger mount, ( should have bought it in a little) i then install the phase 3.5 and with in a few runs the mount is f*****, mount was brand new.
did the mount fail because i did not readjust the front mount or did it fail because the rear mount is not resting on the under cradle like it does in the cav mk3 turbos.
what car do you drive and which mount went on yours, when you replaced it did it go again
my rear engine mount is not on the under cradle but on the inner wing side do you suggest i leave this or add in the under cradle mount.
