Well the story so far with the rebuild I have stripped the engine down as far as the bottom end and am waiting for a hand of Toby C to get the bottom pulley off!!
I was thinking of putting SEH pistons into it to raise the compression slightly. Will I need to change injectors to stop it pinking or will it be ok on standard injectors.
I doubt I will chip the ECU but have managed to get hold of a Holbay Fast road cam, below is the spec for this cam, maybe someone could compare this with the standard C20NE cam and see what differences there are.
Timing Figures (degrees) : 25/63 63/25
Valve Lift(inches) Inlet/Exhaust : .437
Period @ Crankshaft (Degrees) Inlet/Exhaust : 276
These are all the figures I can get at the moment but just wondered if there were any major differences between this and the standard cam.
