Rob i spoke to you about this a few weeks ago, but i have looked a bit more into it....
im now looking into possibilities of this conversion. Stroker kits seem to have a bad image here, cus of longer rods not bing able to take higher rpms etc...but jap tuning companies have been using stroker kits for ages, like jun racing, toda racing etc even that norris design guy uses a stroker kit on his 580bhp evo5.
so now im in the process of finding a 2.3 crank, which i believe risse motorsport in germany offer see link below
one that is obtained i will need specially made psitons and rods, which im sure can be made up from one of the several companies in the states....
this piston is from an xe, but it would be interesting to know if a dished version can be made up for the LET...
one thing i can get my head round is if u have an increased stroke crank does the rods become shorter or longer?
I had a bore*stroke calculator which gives you the capacity..i cant seem to find it, what the formula to calculate?
