I've been thinking.
When Velos did the Unichip, the lambda was knackered. As this has now been replaced, would the information it is feeding the ECU not be consistent with the infomation already programmed into the Unichip?
Thats a good question that is,id give em a bell and see what they have to say, although they are bound to say it needs a remap for X amount of ££.
How much do they charge for a remap,do they just charge for rolling road time?
Been to Velos again - theve given me a few things to try eg different lambda sensor to use, but when Alan was looking in his electronics book, he said that the lambda sensor gives a signal to the ECU regarding its self-heating function - something that my new one doesn't as it's only a 1-wire unit.
