All of the colours on the LET loom matched the ones in the 9 way plug on the car loom, except there is one I'm not sure about..
The car loom is brown with a blue stripe and the engine loom looks like it is grey E blue. Since all the other engine loom wires matched one of the car loom ones I connected these 2 together...
Is this correct?
Also when I bought the engine there was a key and a black electronic module (with it's wires cut off) selotaped to the ECU. Whilst reading the Calibra turbo handbook I noticed something called a "ignition coding plug". Is this some sort of immobiliser and will need connecting?
I have bought an oil cooler from an astra GTE as the LET engine did not come with one.
After buying some nice flexible rubber hoses with crimped ends I found the threads are different in the LET oil cooler sandwich plate.
Does anyone know what the threads in the LET sandwich plate are so I can buy an adaptor?
