I need a bit of help, I have a 1989 G reg Mk III Cavalier 2.0CDi Hatch and have lowered it 35mm on PI springs and Spax fixed rate sports shocks, I am also running 7x17 inch Team Dynamics Monza in a 45mm offset with 205/40/17 tyres.
The question I have (I hope this is enough technical information) is that as the wheels etc are new, I was going to get the tracking and camber done, I believe that the camber is not adjustable so is this correct or if not? Also, how likely is the camber out by much and if it is ok, should I save money and just get the tracking done and leave the camber alone?
chances are the increase in wheel size versus the small suspension drop you have done just equal each other out. Unless you notive excessive tyre wear, theres no need to worry, or if it is visually obvious that negative camber is going to be a problem.
I'm sure no Vauxhall came with suspension that gives you camber adjustment.
Get the tracking done after the springs have had a chance to settle properly (200-500miles or so)
