If I go for a supercharger, research tells me my XE will develop about 225lbft of torque.
This hangs a big question mark above the F20s head - will it break? or can I take it easy?
MY question is - do gearboxes normally shear off cogs in 1st gear, or is it more common on turbos where power delivery is so abrupt?
Or is in in higher gears at high revs where the torque is at its peak?
Do I just take it easy in 1st, or is there more involved when running the F20 over its limit? - Have I got a chance of making it last lmao
