Removing imobliser pickup loom from a corsa

My new engine has the imobliser pickup loom missing so ive gotta get it out of the car (which is getting a 2.0ltr without breaking anything
Its the 9 pin conncetor that starts at the pickup to the igniton barrel and then goes where?
Ive found the 9pin connctor on the loom (its near the ecu - but wheres the ecu?) but the engine loom is out of the car.
    Anyone helo me out?
because i will need this, to get anywhere with my engine
If push comes to shove i could probably cut the plugs off and use them but don't really want to

If you get majorly stuck with the immobiliser stuff then I'll have a C16XE ecu and loom for sale soon.

I dont think these have the immobiliser. You could then ditch the EGR, MAP sensor and use a AFM. Not sure how well this would work........

When my 1.4 16v went in I didn't have any of the keys, reg no etc so had to buy a new ecu in the end because of the immobiliser. But if its your mates car it came from then you shouldn't have a problem.

When are you going to strip it out.

Is it laced into the loom itself? Is that why it won't budge?

    Yep. no problem.

Mrs is in a good mood at he mo, cos we've been looking for a new car for her today.

Think we've decided on a Polo (she doesn't like the current Vauxhalls).

Went to Carland in Salford. Man, what a mistake that was. Didn't let us wander round, picked out a car for us to buy. A Renault Megan. We took it for a test drive (mainly because I'd not been in one and I wondered what they were like), then started giving us the soft, hard sell (well would you give me the hard, hard sell?). Couldn't seem to get through to them we wern't buying today. We got the "can you explain to my boss" line, so I told his boss and his bosses boss.

How many times can you say "no"

We quite liked the Renault untill we looked at the way they depreciate. They go down quicker than a $3 hooker.

    Fook that.

So it looks like she's VW bound.
    Nice day out really.

    Couldn't be ar$ed.

The only reason I put up with them is 'cos I was cold and they were giving me free coffee.lmao

We both knew what they would say before they said it (we've both seen the "An Idiots Guide To Selling" videos and been on the brainwashing seminars).

All that "how to maximise the sale" ******. Come up with some new sales pitches guys, the current ones suck.

Don't think it was Ian Scally. It's the one near the start of the M602, near Ordsall estate.

Went up to Stoneachers in Hyde as well. Saw a nice 306 XSi. Good honest looking car. Thought, right that'll fit the bill nicely.

Good job I checked what engine it has. I was expecting a 1.4 or a 1.6 (like the old 205 XSi had). 2.0 now. Damn. Another car bites the dust.

The sales guy there was cool though, no pressure or anything. Dead honest as well.

Saw a decent looking astra today in Hyde.

CDX with the 2.0 16 Ecotec engine though, so it's a bit out of Tony league I think.

I'll keep me peepers open for him.

Oh before I forget, your engines from a later model Corsa?

Does that mean you're going to need a cat in the exhaust (you know what I mean, not next doors ginger tom) for it to pass an MOT?

    Speak to you tomorrow.
