    Oil Flush

    Does anybody know the name of that stuff that you put in the engine so flush the old crap before you put the new in (and dont be smart by saying engine flush)

    read the tin its 90% diesel so charging 4 for about 20p of fuel is a rip off.

    Its called flushing oil. Put it in your old oil, let engine tick over for 10/15mins. Stop engine, changeoil and filter, repenish.Hope this is what you want. Its about 3..50 a tin.

    Its also known as 'rebuild your engine next month'.

    if the engines full of crap then it might not be a good idea to flush it.

    Seals start to leak, crud falls off and clogs up galleries and there goes yer big end.

    Good plan. Flushing oil is OK if you have an engine full of tar, but it can stir up things that were happily settled.
    Do you want to install and run "Adobe Flash Player 9"?
