The cav V6 has ABS and traction control. Are the ‘ECU’s’ for both of these contained within the ABS unit under the bonnet or is the traction control brain fitted elsewhere in the car and just plugs into the ABS unit to gets the wheel speed info?
Also just to confirm: -
doesn’t the V6 traction control system use a flap in the induction system to reduce engine power & stop spin?
Also are all the pipes the same as a non traction control ABS, i.e. 2 in & 4 out?
Finally: can anyone see a problem with me using a cav V6 ABS unit instead of a ‘normal’ (non traction control) one? Obviously I will get the 25pin connector required to fit the V6 ABS.
