However, your question.......ignore the colour of the pintle caps.....and everything thing else as well. Just check the part number on the injector body.

Lots of injectors have the same body colour. Manufacturers play with different coloured spacers and pintle caps to help differentiate between injectors. (Having said that , all Weber Pico injectors are S/S and black).
But when you recondition them you can put any colour spacer or pintle cap on them. So if the part numbers O.K. don't worry.
ive tried different injectors in the past in a gte lump, tweeked with a few other mods like 2litre throttle body, 1800 air flow meter, use the 1800 injectors and then had it set up on rollers with a fse power boost valve. dunno if it worked, but i guess at higher rpm it put a little bit more fuel in.
