just remember by removing the power steering you will need arny arms to turn the wheel. its basically unsteerable without it so watch out.
well im just in the process of chasing up a new engine and gearbox. if i get that il stick it in and if the problem still occurs then i know its down to vibration or something outwith the engine. ill replace the mounts when its out anyway for new ones to eliminate that factor plus ill check the inlet manifold gasket condition aswell.
mine just seems to be gettin worse all the time, it was really bad today even with the freezing cold temperatures it still held back badly. its got to a point where it just wont pull if i put my foot down so im reduced to driving miss daisy al the time now
have any of you ever heard of filling the rubber in the engine mounts with silicone to stiffen them up a bit? i was thinkin about doin this aswell cause its a good "inbetween" of competition mounts and standard ones.
