What sort of pressure are the oil pipes under in my Cav Turbo?
What about the power steering ones?
Most of the pipes at the front of my engine bay are a mess due to all the water they encounter (Car was from Inverness). I'm thinking of replacing them whilst the engine is out but wondered if good copper pipe or chrome pipe would be good engough.
They both have quite a lot of pressure in them...power steering under the most.Sure that they both use hydraulic type fittings which are pressed on to the pipes.Not really a diy job if ya want to be on the safe side.
Try your local hydraulic workshop to see if they can knock some up for ya....more than likely be cheaper than vaux part
