Yesterday, we were talking for the xe camshafts. The maximum limit for aftermaket camshafts which can work to a 2.0xe engine without modified or changed piston is around 265 degrees. More than 265 degrees it must to pocketing the pistons. But what is happening with cam lift and valve lift?
I think that cam and valve lift it's more important from duration to avert a contact from valves with pistons. But i'm not so sure.
And, how many people increase the compression of the engine from 10,5:1 to 11,5:1 and using and more aggresive camshafts and they don't have problems from contact valves to the pistons?
