So whats the outcome, leave a CAT on a C20LET with a Phase kit or remove it? I was talking to David at V-tuning (NotNormal?) and he mentioned they don't like the CAT fitted, best to remove it.
My Calibra is a K reg, and legally it needs a CAT for the MOT.
I do have a CAT replacment pipe but its hassle remving the CAT and fitting the CAT replacment pipe because the cars lowered (takes 2 jacks to lift the car up etc).
At the mement the Calibra is a C20XE and I'm rebuilind a C20LET (with Phase 3.5) to plonk in it. But the downpipe will be different termination on my CAT as its a 3-bolt hole type and the C20LET downpipe is a oval 2-boit hole type. So I need to do some welding to make it mate correctly.
So have people noticed any differece with and without a CAT fitted to a Turbo with a Phase kit?
