muppet if you were using Autronic I could give you a map, You had problems with the t3 because it is metro spec and exhaust a/r is too small, total ignition depends on many factors, you probably wont see more than 33 degreesOriginally posted by muppet
ATC are you using the std T3 from a rs turbo or just the manifold with different T3 turbo. Another question I would like to ask ATC is how much total timing do you find you are using when running upto 20psi on the C20LET. Thanks
I have been looking at the wheel on the exhaust side of the T3 from a metro 1.3 and the angle of the blades is very flat from the ones I have seen on the kkk16. I would be interested in seeing any pics of a 1.6 rs turbo T3 and the one used on the T3 cossie to compare. As it has been stated you would possibly see a difference in the angle of the blades and the number of blades. I think part of my pinking was because of too much back pressure and extremely bad flowing manifold causing the heat to stay in the chamber and regardless of how much fuel or retarding the ignition just could not cure the pinking even with intake temps around 20-30degrees. This was happening at just 7psi.
I am now just going to go for a std kkk16 as I just want to get it running 15-20psi with no signs of pinking.
