one blade has this pattern and the next has a straight edge then the next jagged and so on, this is the air filter pipe removed side of the turbo.
looks to me like the longer blades have the jagged edge on. If it's every other blade, I reckon it's on purpose. Looks machined, too. I've seen a Metro turbo that had eaten a couple of stones, was more rounded and chewed.
whats the purpose of this as ive been told the kkk16 standard has straight blades no jagged blades at all.
Possibly to break up harmonic resonance flow and allow the impellor to run closer to the surge point without having it cross over it and stall the flow.
Not really sure since it is a bit hard to tell without seeing the whole wheel.
Any other thoughts?
Tabs maybe a email to KKK will provide the answer?
it seems to be every other blade having this jagged edge pattern what is kkk email address.
these are pics of the "hybrid" (you need to be member of Calibra2000 first - free!)
Richie had pics of the stock unit, but the links don't work anymore
That is fecked mate If it isnt fecked it certainly isnt a standard turbo.
Try and get some better pics if you can, though i know its difficult
