I am getting geared up to fit the SBD 164 kit to my 1600 corsa next year and am trying to get some of the components I need together before ordering the kit. I got the Demon Tweaks motorsport catalogue and was going to order the fuel hose and fittings, but there is a bewildering array of different types of hose and fittings and I am not sue where to start. The goodridge 200 series hose look good quality (if dear) but what bore diameter do I need? I understand the SBD fuel rail and pressure regulator use JIC 6 couplings but does anyone know what type is on the Vauxhall hoses which connect to the standard rail. Also both the supply and feed lines are at the distributor end of the engine, so do I need one of those expensive 180 degree swept tubes to loop back across the fuel rail. If anyone has any recommendations I would be happy to hear them. I don't want to be penny pinching about this, but I also don't want to spend money unnecessarily either (the kit is expensive enough). Another related question is about fuel injectors. I understand that a need new injectors with this kit (Bosch blues). Where is the best place to get these at a reasonable price.
AJ.. have a look at the SBD site in about 20mins (may be a bit longer).. I'm uploading the start of their new site, and there's details of fuel couplings and hoses on it, in the PARTS section.. with correct prices (ex vat)
Steve, great to hear that the site is almost back up, I have been waiting eagerly to check out the new kits etc. Thanks for the reply. I am going to order the kit sometime next month, and if I can get all the gear at the same time that would be ideal.
