    A few...
    Phase 3 = 300bhp
    Phase 3.5 = 315bhp

Both kits run the same overboost of 1.5 bar and its advised for both kits you run an uprated fuel pump. Designed for standard injectors but be sure to get them cleaned before you start.

The ONLY difference between the two in terms of mechanical parts is phase 3 uses the standard Motronic 2.7 internal 2bar map sensor, whereas the phase 3.5 uses an aftermarket bosch 3bar map sensor and obviously slightly different mapping to cater for the change. Because the 3bar map sensor can read the boost a lot more acurately this is why phase 3.5 has better boost control and is not so eratic. This also gives you the added bonus of an extra 15bhp

The power figures for the phase kits change more often than the weather!

I wouldn't say that Rob, after all, it always rains here lmao

Please guys, 15bhp is nothing, its less than 5%. Worry about traction and the thing holding itself together and suspension and brakes and everything else.

Get a proper boost controller and you can decide on your own boost level.

I thought the map sensor was just recalibrated?
Cant see any signs of soldering afer Arno upgraded my ECU.

so how about skipping phase 3.5 and just getting the p4 ecu upgrade? i have just brought a set of arrow rods, so how important is the oil spray bar mod?

The rpm is raised to 8,000rpm for Phase 4, you really need to use some uprated parts (like conrods) if you are planning on revving up there.

It runs 1.6 bar as well which is higher than the Phase 3 overboost so the engine needs to be strong to take it, I assume the oil spray bar is for cooling.
