SBD Developments suggest to use the type C 4-2-1 exhaust manifold with TP208Kit an with MT196. Most of you have the type A 4-2-1 exhaust manifolt with tb's. The type A manifold from Sbd is for :
This type is a direct replacement for ORIGINAL equipment (unless other wise stated) and will add between 6 to 8 BHP.
Does that manifold (type a) reduce the performance with using tb's?
And this is who suggest the sbd for use with tb's.
Exhaust manifold. High output for Astra MK3 2.0L 16v & Cavalier GSI (you can modify it to fit the MK2 Astra 16v) must be fitted with an exhaust system with a minimum diameter of 2.5”. (when fitting all exhaust studs must be removed & replaced with cap head bolts)
Yes i understand that, but my question is,
Is it worth to spend the double money to buy the type C manifold or not?
My feature purposes is an engine with around 220-225 bhp with tb's, piper cam A16VB285H and a good head working.
With this specs, can a type A manifold work well?
