the car is 94 cally turbo, ran fine when i first got it, then dump valve and air filter, the exhaust is nacked so its due to be replaced but, recently had a lot of trouble starting,mate barnes has a look at the dizzy cap, it looked like the original item and had done 74,ooo miles, changed that and ht`s and plugs, and it starts first time, but now the is a hesitation and the engine managment light is coming on regular, a trip to vaux is on but not till middle of Jan, with a hanes manuel i inspect the old plugs and the reveal carbon fouling, causes are carb mix settings, float level, choke operation, air filter.
what does this mean, air flow meter? change back to air box? Temp sender? any other ideas as the engine man. light is on all the time now when at normal running speed, and the fault code should be there, but its a pipercross air filter. and the car gets hammered regular mostly a weekend car, drive van through week?
got any ideas folks similar tails are welcome and how they where fixed due for phase three in Jan-Feb, needs to be running proper?
