I've just had 2 quotes for a rebore on my block.
£40 + VAT from a standard engine recon place
£180 + VAT from a race car tuners who will do a much more gradual bore and hone.
Which one shoud I go for? I plan on getting silly power out of the engine so I want a block thats gonna hold. Is the standard bore gonna be good enough for my needs? I'm not gonna be running it on a track or anything like that.
