Saab injectors, fuel pressure and borewash

    say I run saab injectors with a P3 kit, it come supplied with a 4bar regulator? According to my calculations they`ll be pushing out 484cc? 121cc per 1 bar x 3 @3bar = 363cc, so X4 =484cc

would I risk a borewash? may be it will over fuel at top end but thats a good thing right? as long as it dont bore wash it should be ok? or do I uses a lower FPR say a 4bar?

Well, if you use a hallmeter in lambda sensor for see the mixture, you don't have risk of borewash. Begin with low pressure in line in fuel regulator pressure.

Phase 3 Pressure is 4.5 bar

I think the main reason for using them is that it was calculated that at maximum pressure when you have your foot down the Yellows would need to flow at 100% which isn't too good.

Richie will be able to answer better.

the LET injectors are just about the same size as saab ones..

    Go for Porsche ones instead..
they are aviable as 530cc (?) for a human price in sweden.
should be the same in UK..

Err, flow increase is not directly proportional to pressure increase.

    The formula is:

sqrt(New pressure/Old pressure) x Old flow rate = New flow rate

a human price? quite a big sacrifice for a set of injectors?????

anyway, yeah whats the deal with different injectors and phase 3 kit?

    human price?lmao

anyway so what pressure would be ideally suited to the reds? if i use a 4bar would i risk borewash?

Do a search for the old Red injector threads, all your answers are in there.
