    Oil Pressure Gauge Sender

where the hell is the sender for the oil pressure gauge on the digidash?
my gauge reads full on ignition switch II and full all the time so it obviously isnt working. I thought I could find it in the TIS but couldnt - doesnt seem to be in there.
What am I looking for - a plug? and where is it?

    thanks

back of the block next to the oil filter. got 2 wires going into it, ones for the warning light, the other for the gauge.

Cool! thanks old bean, Now I know where to look. I saw a wire dangling down near this area - one of the splash proof ones with the plug and green rubber bit on, maybe its that?

I have got the same.. I think..
in the dash the signal is always full 4 blocks
cold, warm, full power, no power... always..

only a few months ago when my engine was running idle at 500rpm it was at 2 blocks.. when idle was normal I had the 4 blocks back

so is mine broke or not?

at warm idle you shouldnt have max pressure so it looks like yours is malfunctioning aswell.

The test is to see if the gauge reads maximum pressure when the engine is off.

    right my turn

If i turn the ignition on the gauge goes down to zero...but if i start it , it goes to three bars..(one over half).
But i have replaced the sender and it has stayed the same...the dial bust on the clocks? Been like this for a while now has not caused any damage.
Help would be gratefully apprieated (spelling)
