nova gte mpi onto cav spi C16NZ engine
hi i'm asking for a friend whether converting it to multipoint injection from a nova gte would work, from what i know its the same engine - C16NZ. what would be needed to do this conversion - as in would it need the loom & ecu aswell? cheers
As hes asking for me
^^Up We Go^^
you could of just asked lmao
i think the head has square ports, gte inlet manifold has arched shape runners.
so theres know way of doing it then? or can you swap the head with a gte one?
gte head will go. probably better too.
ok cheers dont think i can be arsed with that tho
i swear you cant be arsed with anything!
well the same engine with a carb 16SV makes 90bhp, might be worth thinking about. would need low pressure pump though, and the ignition setup.
lmao cheeky bastard, just cant be bother with stuff like that, while my engines running sweet i wanna keep it that way if i swap heads knowing my luck it will never turn over againlmao
true it might be worth thinking about when i start driving and p***ed off with the speed of it, cheers m8
i think you should go for it and swap the heads and get mpi. 2.0 land aint that far off then, you and stemon love all the hard jobs done for ya
exactly, wanna do it?lmao
anythings possible for a price! lmao
lmao but.. but.. im family
not a chance mate
worth a go
if you put the gte head on and got some twin 40's you would be looking at a serious power gain, and would not need to change the tank or add a pump!
thats the spirit come on jay ya know ya want to!
um it is very temted but my engines running and starts uplmao if i change it the whole car will fall apart
you'd take the car to vauxhall to change an interior trim panel, and i stripped out my whole car oh well some people aint very hands on
nice blue cav on my drive? if you mean mine then good luck getting it shifted, got a bloody good immobiliser on it
