When MY C20LET was stanard it could manage 220 Lbs per foot from 2400 RPM which I think is not bad and is certinally comparable to the jeeps power and yet can still manage high 30's to the gallon on the motorway I will say this though my C20 LET would fail long before this 4~500,000 mile bench mark that your engines can run for and would probably fail quicker if it spent most of its life towing a motorhome or something else equally pointlessly large however it would be fixable with a rebuild costing about £1000 now think of how much you would save on fuel bills being able to get nearly 40 to the gallonOriginally posted by Trevor
Hey it has 230 foot pounds at 3,000 rpm. It has a maximum train weight (Vehicle & Trailer) of 9,500lbs and maximum trailer weight of 5,000 lbs. Go tow that behind a C20LET!
Will convert that into UK terms and add that in a bit.
9,500lbs = 4.31 tonnes
5,000lbs = 2.27 tonnes
