My c20let is running 303bhp @ 1 bar and now and again suffers fuel cut, currently running adjustable reg at 3.5bar standard pump and injectors.
Just wondering if it's safe/worth fitting a walbro pump and if it's likely to stop fuel cut?

You definitely want bigger injectors first
VXR ones would be ideal and you might even be able to drop the pressure a bit (dont have the figures to hand but sounds about right)

Yeah was thinking Vxr injectors for better flow (old let had these)
It's still original pump/wiring R reg ph2 Gsi!
If you use the SAAB injectors you won't need to raise the fuel pressure, but the only disadvantage is getting the ECU to 'learn' the new injector resistance as this is lower.
Have you check the dizzy and rotor arm are in good condition?

Sorry to bump this was gonna fit and uprated pump this weekend and wondering if I fit Vxr injectors (fuel pressure at 3.5 bar at moment) if I'll need to adjust anything and how do I get ecu to learn new injectors?
Will be changing rotor arm, cap and plugs at same time.
What's best plugs ?
Some people say iridium plugs are but I use Cosworth plugs and have no problems at all

VXR injectors flow more so you will need to lower the fuel pressure. Ideally you should have a wideband so you know when the pressure is right rather than guessing.
I'm no expert but I do believe with larger injectors you can reduce fuel pressure but tbh you are probably best using a wideband to fine tune adjustment rather than rely on a best guess
Edit: pah too slow should of refreshed page sooner ><
Cheers for info what about Saab reds told they are better than VXR?
Wide band is on the cards but next month... Worth leaving injectors / pump out till then?
Changing the pump wont effect the pressure so change that anyway. I would leave the FPR and the injectors until you have a wideband though
Cheers what pumps best... I keep seen 044, 225, 255??
walbro 255, thats what i got for mine.
as above
