    c20let head gasket arp studs

    Im putting my engine back together and got to the head gasket, i have a standard gasket and arp head studs

    Im just stuck on a few things!

    The gasket ive been sent is listed as BS720 for 20xe, c20xe, c20xej ( not for c20let , will it be strong enough running evo5 the 2zlets didnt fail for 4 years, i took it apart to fix turbo studs snapped off )

    is it ok to use the arp studs with the standard gasket or should i go back to the 2 zlet ones i used to use on it?

    Are the arp nuts just a standard socket? they look strange not a normal socket?

    What torque settings should i use with the head studs?, the box has disintigrated in the garage so i have no paperwork or box for them

    I've used a 5 layer metal gasket on mine, if using the zlet ones don't forget to drill the fasteners out.

    The nut is a 1/2" 12 point, the studs need to be hand tight, HTH.

    You don't have to drill out the fasteners if using a z20let mls on c20let.
    No two surfaces squash them.

    i never drilled my 3 layer z20let h/g out like debeerd said they dont touch anything ?
