    twin engine corsa

anybody thought about fitting the complete front end of a corsa sutably trimed up and braketed into the back of an other corsa to make 4 wheel drive ,that way you would have perfect factory geometry please comment also has anybody fitted an auto box with an xe engine into the front of a corsa ,as this would be the pracical set up in back to avoid gear likage hassels

Been done plenty.....one of the better ones is Beardy's. Its in the resto section should you feel the need to trawl through it.

Perfect geometry Its far from perfect and matters made much worse by transfering that geometry into the back
Tbh twin engines tend to drive like 3 legged donkeys and get mullered on qtr and round the track by a half decent mono motor.

Great fun as a project though

    Re: twin engine corsa

Funny thing is i agree with everything RS1 says and i am building one

I think alot fail because of the way they are built as 99% are done in the way you are saying, which is the reason which i spaced framed it all and built in all over adjustment so i can make small or large changes to the suspension setup.
Plus if mine fails which i really hope it dosent as i would says mines one of the highest spec built, i will remove the front engine and just play with RWD

The bottom line with everything if a jobs worth doing its worth doing right.
