    20seh turbo conversion help

    Hello,

    Im in the middle of my corsa b project and am now starting to focus on the engine side of things.

    I have a 20SEH engine which I would like to turbo but after reading so many threads on this and other websites my head is now spinning with confusion of what I need to do.

    I would like a healthy 250bhp to run up the strip now and then so would anyone be able to give me some advice on what I need so I can start finding and gathering the parts please.

    Your not gonna see 250bhp unless you spend some fairly serious money tbh?

    Its a long term project so im not in any rush to get it done so money isnt to much of an issue.

    ditch the seh and go for an ne as the compression is lower unless you plan on fitting different pistons or having yours machined to drop compression

    How much would does a c20let lump with Ecu go for nowadays and what would it cost to get 250bhp out of it?

    Thats not a bad price but id still really like to keep it a bit oldskool and turbo the 8v.

    What would the ideal compression rate be for the SEH to enable to achieve 200-220bhp. My cousin is a CNC machinist and can cut me a De-comp plate for very little money but I need to know what commpression I should aim for first.

    Also, im assuming Mega-Squirt is the preferred stand alone management to use for this conversion?

    The seh pistons have a higher cr than the ne as they dont have as big a dish on the tops.You can fit the ne pistons (ive got a good set for sale) or fit let pistons which lower the cr even more.
    De-comp plates are usually more trouble than they`re worth.

    hello
    u can make 250hp is not easy but can
    c20seh cr is higher than c20ne
    so firstly go take c20let pistons and rods or use c20xe pistons machined down i have use on my c20ne and works perfect with 1bar boost
    u need to change injectors use c20let injectors u may have trouble to start on the morning after will work ok i have test
    u can use t3garrett turbo from ford cosworth etc
    u can use your menagment
    u need adjustable fuel pressure regulator
    and other small modification

    but urgent u will need afr gauge if u are going to run more than 0.6bar boost
    etc

    to get best performance go stand alone and 300bhp is available at 1.5bar let pistons and t25 on standard management can be done only upto 12psi ideally as you can never get fueling right on boost mega does that for you
