    pot type flywheel clutch fitting

is it possible to fit the pressure plate the wrong way round on a c20xe/let pot type flywheel f20 box/clutch?

just wondered really. did some google and mig searches on it to read up for future clutch issues (my mechanical skills / luck means i will have more problems)

clutch is brand new luk 3 piece standard jobby.

there appeared to be a gap if i fitted the friction plate one way on the pressure plate then nothing the other way round (couldnt see any markings / didnt read em) so i fitted it the way it went togethor smoothly and popped the gearbox on no probs at all.

what is the correct way with pics if anyone has? Haynes is very vague on this.

Yes, they only go one way. Should say on plate gearbox/flywheel side.
