corsa red top need help cutting out and over fuelling

got a corsa red top when i start it up it runs for a little while then really rough like miss firing then doesnt start again and there is a heavy smell of fuel think its over fueling any ideas any help would be appreciated thanks

A common problem with symptoms like that is the CTS (Coolant Temperature Senser/sender) - the ECU thinks it's very cold and over-enriches the mixture.
You'll usually see clouds of black smoke from the exhaust as well.
It's the (usually) blue sender unit just below the thermostat housing to the front of the engine near the left when looking at it.
