    Bad Miss when driving on X16XEL

    driving along and the car started spluttering and backfiring....Fault code P0351 for Ignition coil A high signal....replaced the coil still the same.... any ideas

    Check the wiring and clean up all the earths and see if that improves it.

    Does it sound like it runs on 3? If so start at the bottom, as in change the plugs, then leads, coil pack.

    These engines can be prone to a number of issues. As above - try leads / plugs etc first.
    They also suffer from slipped bottom crankshaft pulleys (the one for the aux belt not the timing belt) when they aren't located on the woodruff key properly - this throws out the reading to the crank sensor.
    Other faults could be sticky valves - a compression test would confirm this.
