    Mk3 cav

you need engine. engine loom. ecu. id get a gearbox also. f20 be the best. mk3 cav multi point inj fuel pump. Depending on what xe you get early or late there will be other bits like coil for early and ign amp for late
throttle cable. 2l brakes . few more bits and bobs

tbh mate your better finding a smashed or rotton vaux with the engine in already then you kno everythings there.

Best to buy one you can hear running,

but there is few on eBay ..

    c20xe engine | eBay

    redtop engine | eBay

But as stated above, you need - Engine / manifold, loom ,ECU , F20 Gearbox , ( Drive shafts should be ok?) maybe need to alter fuel pipes the sender and return.

Engine / gearbox mounts should be Ok.

cheers guys at least i have a rough idea

    Two things tho:

    1. Aill i need to swap the dash looms or will it be a case of plug and play ?

    2. Are the 1.8 brakes the same at whats fitted to the sri/gsi with a c20xe as my 1.8 ones are ****ing ****. lol

    cheers

    1. You should just need engine loom, I converted my c18nz to an XE a long time back & only changed the underbonnet loom.

    2. 1.8`s have different front brakes, they are the same diameter but narrower with smaller calipers - it`d be worth fitting the 2.0 setup (its a stright swap).

Yep, you`ll need to swap fuel lines - only from under the bulkhead to the engine & you`ll need the mpi pump.
