Erratic idling
I have a year 2000 Corsa that idles erratically between normal idle up to approx 1500rpm. This also affects performance of car when driving as this change in revs continues through the gears, mostly noted when changing down from 3rd to 2nd - causing car to bunny hop..
Does anyone have any ideas what causes this.
I'd help but you have not told us what engine your Corsa has.
Is the ECU light on ?

The engine is 1400cc, and the ECU light is not on.

Good place to start would be cleaning the idle control valve and throttle body. Need to know what engine you have though. Is it the 1.4 8v or 16v. If it's the 8v is it single point injection or multi point?
