Mk4 Astra intercooler options

Afternoon all,

Being a Scotsman I'm tight with my money meaning I don't fancy forking out the £350 that TX Autosport, the laughable £611.75 that Courtney want and the ridiculous £704.68 that Regal want for a Astra G Z20LET FMIC kit.

What options are out there?

Is it similar to Cav / Calibra where a fronter (or similar) Intercooler will work with the right pipework? Ideally I'd like to keep the Coupe front bumper as complete and stealthy as possible.

What home brew set up is anyone else running?

Current Spec
Z20LET
Standard turbo
GM suplied VXR plugs
dBlias Flowmaster (being fitted soon)
unknown dump valve.

with my gsi im going to be fitting a standerd EVo intercooler and weld my own pipe work at work, so it will prob cost under £200 for a good setup,
so if you can make your own pipe work or know somone then this might be the way to go,

i tried the evo ic on mine and it looked and fitted crap. i got a universal 1 of ebay and 1 metre of 2.5" pipe and a few bends and made my own kit. was also around £200

Cheers gents. What's the going rate for 2nd hand kits on the forums? About £250? If so, for the sake of £50, it might save a lot of fecking about with welding, bending, joining, etc, etc.
