tx autosport c20xe crank pulley!

got one of these and didnt matter how many times i spun it, the bolt holes never lined up, the best i could get was 4 holes! had to elongate thema couple of mm which is a joke for a new item!! anyone else had this? it was single V crank pulley

worst tophats ive ever seen these 3" ones, nightmare to bolt on, only thing ive had from there thats been ok so far intercooler pipes, even then there not great,

I bought the crank pulley for my Gsi - XE and it fitted like glove, and never had any problems..

So I bought one for my Cav Turbo, and after so many miles it was wobbling, so they exchanged it, the replacement, wouldn't go on.

I tried the one of my Xe and that one wouldn't fit either. Which is strange as I thought the XE / LET where same size cranks.

can you not contact them and complain surly if it doesnt do the job its ment for then they have to refund or replace it

The maf to turbo pipe is ok, and mine fitted properly.

Not had anything else from them though.

I had the same problem with my crank pulley holes were out and never wanted to line up joke dont think tx are up to much.

loads off the alloy rads ive seen n heard about habe leaked when warm ect

couple of peeps on png had problems iirc

so have i with my ally rad

I must admit, they did refund me in full, after the replacement pulley was no-good.

They didn't have much option - but I'll bet they put it back on the shelf to on-sell it - maybe to the chap who started this thread

I've had the same pulley on a car I purchased. The HG had gone so all of that stuff needed to come off to fix the problem. After the hullabaloo of trying to remove the TX pulley, which was literally welded onto the crank, I sold it on and stuck a normal Vauxhall twin one on. Part of the problem with them is that they are made of aluminium alloy and the crank isn't, so they expand and contract with heat at different rates. You need a load of copper slip on the back of them to prevent them sticking on and you literally murder the pulley getting them off which knackers the balance.

They sound cool, but in practice, are a waste of money and time in my experience with them.

Ive had a crank pulley and it doesnt fit bloody joke also had a dipstick tube and dont even wanna start on that also got a sump plug drained oil etc went to fit plug the copper washer they sent with it didnt even fit the plug i will never purchase anything off them again tbh
