    c20let valve springs

    hi i read Tuning the LET - Cylinder Head here that springs should be replaced it they are below 41mm, mine measure

    exhaust 41.0mm
    inlet 41.8mm


    what do you think they wont be used in a high reving engine but a high ish boosing one.

    ??

    thoughts its a £100 i could do with out spending?

    Sufficient boost could cause some valve float which is annoying. For the sake of a few hundred quid seems silly not to upgrade.

    theres about £60 differance between piper single springs and caps and double springs and caps, id go for doubles.

    Doubles on a forced induction application ?
    Sound good on the spec sheet but I was understanding they were only for high reving applications ?

    ive got rucks of standard springs, if let me know lengths your after i can send some over for postage cost?

    Double springs are needed on turbo engines.
