any ideas anyone? just had x20xev fitted into mk3 astra (engine from mk4) had to swap sump,new oil seal,cambelt,water pump, when engine was out. Noticed all plugs were different, so stripped old engine (x18xe,but running on x20 ecu as that is what car originally was)and moved everything over to new engine so didnt have to cut loom about.All back in now, was no fuel or spark. Sorted fuel problem, (wrong plug to back of inlet) car turns over but no spark. Had to re-use starter motor from x18xe,everything swapped to stripped x20 so went back in as "came out"...got someone gonna diagnostic it at weekend....any ideas anybody? thanks
Also on the loom from back of the engine (battery loom) it bolts to engine, two wires to alt, two to starter and inbetween these are two skinny wires with no plug on, they were laid in the back of engine bay, but cant find where they go,nothing was ripped out, just lay there so last lot who done engine swap didnt wire in?
