2001 1.7td has poor accelleration.

i've had my van for over a year now and its acceleration has always been poor and often has to be put into first gear to climb steep hills and when put into second the power disappears. It seams to drive better at around 3000 revs but anything below that its sluggish. I've done the pedal test and code 0380 comes up which i believe is the glow plugs but the van starts first time no matter what the weather. Any help would be appreciated thanx.

hi mate i sorted mine i unplugged the maf sensor and the vans pulling a lot better, just need to get new sensor now and am told it will run even better.
