    c20xe miss fire?

    Hello

i have searched and searched but i cant seem to find the awnser

i have a xe in a corsa with no fault codes showing but its running lumpy and has missfire when there is load on it but if i rev gently it seems to be better? Cuts out every now and then aswell i would say when warmed up its a bit better? I have done

    changed cts
cleaned icv overnight in carb cleaner (made a difference but still didnt fix problem)
Unplugged tps and it revs up plug back in and it drops so i would say that works?
Unplug afm it cuts out so that works
new plugs and leads a month ago (couldnt be broke already?)
also changed relay to a new one (no difference)

    What else could it be?

Any help much appreciated as im baffled

    What injectors are you running?

Have you removed the plugs and inspected them?

You also want creams and a 2.5bar FPR on an XE with motronic 2.5.

Was reading original post where it said yellows.

You want a 2.5bar one on there. It'll be over-fuelling.

    Re: c20xe miss fire?

Find the fuel pump relay and feed the thick red/blue on the plug wire with a + from teh battery - that will run the pump....

    Re: c20xe miss fire?

You need to connect the three wider contacts together, just bypassing towards the pump is no guarantee to bliss as there might still be a couple of parts not getting voltage. Hence the relay I made with indicators can be a helpful part to make sure all parts are getting voltage. Basically there are three thin contacts of which two are getting connected to ground through the ECU, and one is another live wire (red/blue thin wire...) the first one will switch the first relay contact feeding the injectors, MAF sensor and ICV, and applies voltage to the second relay coil, which is earthed through the ECU, this will give voltage to the pump....

Looking at the wire colours anything red is live, anything brown is ground and anything black is switched live....

Got it to fire with foot to the floor then had to keep revving to keep it alive but still no pettie out rail after a couple mins of running? This car is really starting to **** me off now!

Is it a case of look over everything time?

With you changing the fuel injector etc, make sure you've pushed the loom right down onto the injectors.

All so, when you changed ICV, did you plug the switch back into the ICV?.
