    Thumbs up z20let/leh stroker kit

I've been a long time lurker of migweb and have some experience with tuning the z22se. Now, I'm gonna take my hand to tuning a z20leh.

So, as above, does anybody know if you can get a kit for the z20lex engines?

I've seen one for c20let here but nothing for the z20lex engines. Might be a daft question, but are the cranks interchangable?

Edit: Thanks for the feeback, so how would you go about putting a c20let stroked-crank into a z20leh block?

Well in terms of fitments, the blocks, rods, and oil pumps are pretty much interchangeable so cranks should be too.

To be honest though, you could get 500/600bhp from a Z20LEx without a stroker kit so why bother? Put the money into a decent turbo, management and fuelling system instead unless you're planning on a money-no-object build.

He may be considering a stroker kit because it will bring it onto boost earlier and give the same power with less rpm - in theory, anyway.

The cranck are not interchangeable, the Z20 crank have 86mm, the X22 have 94,6mm

the block have one difference of 9,6mm

if you use the Z20 block with the X22 crank, for shure they gone touch, and you need to use also small rod of 138,8mm

also the R/L is gone be higher = 0,34 instead 0,29

also to you achive high comp ratio, is gone be hard

    C20LET

    Re: z20let/leh stroker kit

Theres a few combinations you can go down however 2.2+ hasn't had much success in turbocharged form.
A better option imo is to run a 86mm stroke long rod and rev the **** out of it.... but you would require extensive headwork/valvetrain to be using 10k rpm Would also need to be dry sumped.

That's it mate. Just trying to find out if the c20let crank can fit into a z20leh block without too much hassle.

    C20LET

    Re: z20let/leh stroker kit

c crank into a z isnt going to create a 'stroker' motor thought so kinda defeats the object
If you want capacity use saab.

Found a stroked c crank here: Pure Performance -

    Won't this fit in a z engine?

i'm using a turbo in a 2.2 (XE), i achive the result of 413cv(engine), all OEM internal parts, BUT is a lot of work and not a car to race

now, i want to get back on turbo, but i gone do a 2.4
on my ideia is gone be early boost, also gone increase a lot torque on all rev.
