x20xev mk3 astra gsi using oil and smokey???

im not sure if its the piston rings has any1 had this problem before??
dont want to pull it to bits yet until im sure. cheers

Stem sills can be a common problem on x20xev's? Is the engine high milliage? When does it smoke?

If its first start of the day from cold then yes, stem seals

Probably just as easy to grab another lump.

Lots of treatments available to help thicken the oil slightly. Worth a try.

mainly when its been ticking over then rev it slighty it smokes and just stinks off burning oil sometimes doesnt and sometimes does??
