c20let - refitted turbo now it wont run properly

took me ages to get it started and when i he it just cut out

changed cts, started up ran bit rich but got better. i left it to warm up an once it had it leaned out an was sputtering jerking etc

re starts on the button though then 1min later its messing about

right I've let it warm up until it ****s about and i unplugged the afm, it ran much better!

so i take it its the meter or the wiring?

its been left a few days an now it won't start again, i re taped the loom but every plug is gettin power.

gettin fuel to, would a cooked afm cause it not to start? maybe its just fouled the plugs up@

It will start without the maf as that is how I got my car home after a boost pipe fell off.

ok i will clean the plugs

took the loom off and re taped it all, wires were all fine and connections. check for volatge at the sensors thats all good!!

it refuses to start now, its getting fuel but can't be sparking! tried another new set of plugs an no joy!

could it be a ignition live wire?? crank sensor? im still waiting for my afm but cant work out why it wont start!!! need it running as its going up for sale.

Fuel relay, hall sensor? Crank sensor & cam sensor are about the only things that will cause it not to start, should start without the afm. Have you done a compression test & checked the timing?

anyone got an idea where the ignition live is ment to go from-to?? just want to check all the ignition has power.
