Is it easy?
Depends on your level of skill.

i managed to change the timing belt and pulleys water pump etc on my redtop calibra years ago although it took me about 3 weeks to do due to the weather was a nightmare and had to rope in a friend to help haha. was gonna give it a go seeing as im not working or that to save a few quid. been told i would prob have to drop the engine etc which might be a nightmare on my driveway
You'll need to remove the engine mount if thats what your talking about.

im not sure all i was told is that they are a nightmare to do as u gotta drop the whole engine on the drivers side which was making me think twice about doing it
No I don't think so. Support engine and remove mount yes. Other than that, got to be one of the easiest belts to change ever.
They're there, in their room.
gd stuff think i may give it a go over the weekend how long do u think it would take haha also im assuming there will be markings to get everything to line up correctly?
Oh yeah, this aint no shonky Zetec Ford engine. Plenty of timing marks. Just be usre to double check bolts are tight and turn the engine slowly BY HAND, ideally with plugs out before starting and you can't go wrong.

so basically as long as marks are all lined up everythin should be fine???? also does the tensioners self tension or do they just bolt in position?
The guide is at the top for setting it up.
How long will it take? Again, without being funny depends on your mechanical skill.

i would say im competent at best i mean i would prob remove everythin reasonably quick as long as no stuck bolts etc the problems would arise when i came to fit the pulleys etc if u kinda know what i mean
Get some help
