Let & f16cr

Hi new to all things vauxhall. I'm fitting a let into my mini, due to space I can't fit the 4x4 box that came with the engine and I have a good f16cr box sitting in my garage. So was wondering if any one has fitted one to a let?? I'm thinking maybe the box might not handle the extra power.

had one on a c20let running 260bhp for 3 years, gave it abuse pretty much every time it was out and it was fine.

Being in a Mini should also reduce the stress on the box - too much torque to the wheels will just promote wheelspin, rather than overload the gearbox.

Cheers guys good to know. Won't be putting that much power through it because I want to get traction.

invest in an lsd or it will have no traction
