Eds phase 3.5 and saab reds... What fuel pressure?

    Hello guys,

Currently running phase 3.5 on my let with saab red injectors, what fuel pressure should i be running? Had it at 4.5 bar but seemed to be overfuelling quite bad? Turned it down to 4 and its running better... At the minute i cant give it full throttle or it will strutter and spit flames, which im guessing is too much fuel?

    Cheers in advance

Yeah too much fuel going and it's not getting a good spark, by the sounds of it.

. what turbo / boost you running?

. change injectors either- VXrs or 550s or 660s

. change spark plugs - Ford AGPS O71C plugs

. Wideband kit - Then you'll know if your running to rich or lean.

I was going through the same problems on Phase-3, I'm now running VXrs injectors fuel pressure @3.0bar with the spark plugs I mentioned and the spluttering / popping stopped.

    Hope this helps.

Injectors > VXR and saab red injector flow rates? ..

All so, if you haven't already, but it's best to upgrade the fuel pump as well

What boost are you running? as sometimes too much boost can cause it to splutter / pop etc.

But I would it easy for time been, until you've got that wideband fitted.

Wideband I got for mine > AEM GAUGE 6-in-1 TYPE WIDEBAND UEGO CONTROLLER 30-4100 | eBay

I'm all so running Turbotechnics T35, which-one you using?

OK, get your wideband for it, and then go from there, but I would look into getting different injectors, I had saab reds when I was phase2, and when I said about phase3 people told me get VXR injectors or similar.

    Keep eh's updated.
